Since 1884, Annie Wright School has proudly educated girls to become women leaders of strength and character.  Located within sight of the beautiful Puget Sound highlighted by the majestic Mt. Rainier and offering easy access to the vibrant cities of Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia as well as to many outdoor recreation areas throughout the Pacific Northwest, Annie Wright School offers a world-class IBO education in one of the most beautiful and exciting locales in the United States. The prestigious international program of IBO approved courses provides an excellent fit with Annie Wright and our existing programs and philosophy, and also will give our students an extra edge for college admissions and international exchange.  Boarding close to 75 students representing 20 different countries and 15 different states, we are able to proudly say that “the world is our classroom.” Our teachers demonstrate their dedication to students via their work in the classroom, as leaders for extracurricular activities, and as partners with our students' parents. The AWS faculty brings to their work through academic preparation, a lifelong love of learning and knowledge of the developmental needs of the students whom they mentor and teach.
